We take this very seriously and reserve the right to send a team member home to change if leadership finds the dress diverting from our standards set below.

Luxury Language

We wish to convey to our guests a professional, luxurious experience with every phone call, visit or conversation we have with them. Therefore, we have incorporated certain words and phrases we wish you to use and become part of your vocabulary.

Words and phrases to use and not to use

  • Instead of “yeah” or “uh-huh” or “OK” or “sure” you must say: Certainly or Absolutely or yes ma’am, yes sir

  • Instead of “your welcome” or “no problem” you must say: My Pleasure or Our Pleasure

  • Instead of “What’s your name?” you must say: May I have your name please?

  • Instead of “Let me see” or “Let’s see” you must say: I can check on that for you or I can check our availability

  • Instead of “What’s your phone number?” you must say: May I get your phone number please?

  • When answering the phone, we greet our guest with "It's a beautiful day at Tangerine, this is ___, how may I help you?"

Where do you park?

Each Tangerine location is lease obligated by our landlords to their designated employee parking. Not following this rule can result in a fine and/or towing by the Landlord for the violator.

Plus - all prime parking spots are to be reserved for guests. Here is a list of each locations parking criteria:

  • Coppell: Park in the parking lot on the east side of the salon. Please do not park in the diagonal spots in front of Collective Office or Let it Shine Boutique.

  • Highland Village: Parking is either in the back or the north side lot of our building. Never park on the front line

  • Allen: Parking is in the employee parking lot located behind Sephora in the southwest corner of Watters Creek

  • Dallas: Parking garage, basement level. There is an elevator to ground floor.

  • Frisco: Parking garage, 3rd floor. the 1st and 2nd floors are reserved for guests of The Star and Tangerine.

In Salon Conduct

To foster a respectful and positive work environment, employees are expected to communicate professionally and refrain from using profanity, derogatory language, or engaging in negative speech that undermines morale or productivity. This policy applies to all interactions within company premises, during work hours, and at company-sponsored events. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Live streaming is prohibited on company premises and during work hours to protect confidential information, employee privacy, and maintain a professional environment. Exceptions require written authorization from designated authorities. Violations of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
